Nendran Banana Jam

RECIPE:
--------------------------------------------
Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 3 mins per batch
Serves: 16 pieces
--------------------------------------------
INGREDIENTS: [1 cup=240 ml]
--------------------------------------------
Nendran Banana(well ripen) - 2
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Coconut milk(thick+thin) - 1 cup
Egg - 1
Salt - as req.
Oil - for frying
Ghee - for coating
Sugar - for sprinkling

METHOD:
-------------------
1. Prepare a batter with the ingredients wheat flour, coconut milk, egg, and salt, into a slightly thick consistency.

2. Slice the banana into thin slices(starting from left top to right bottom), and set aside. In a kadai, pour oil and when it becomes hot, dip each banana piece in the batter and deep fry till golden brown. Remove and transfer to a plate.

3. Immediately coat the pathiri with ghee using the back of a spoon, then sprinkle some sugar while it is still hot. Shake a little to spread the sugar evenly. Do this for the other side. DONE!!

Your superdelicious pazhapathiri is ready to be served!!Njjoy!!

NOTE:
---------------
1. You can fry 4 to 5 bananas with the mentioned quantity of batter.
2. Dont make the batter too thick or too thin. You must be able to coat the banana pieces in the batter evenly.
3. The simplest version of the recipe is, dip the banana slices in maida+salt+ water batter, deep fry and do step3. This is how some people will do sometimes for ease, or during urgency. It tastes good too.
