An absolutely tasty dip for bread-based dishes or any kind of starter..A simple but great substitute for the usual mayonnaise and ketchups..The crunchiness of peanuts and the flavour of garlic gives a pleasant flavour and tastes yum yum..

RECIPE:
--------------------------------------
Preparation Time: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 3 mins
Serves: 2-3 persons
--------------------------------------
INGREDIENTS:
--------------------------------------
Peanuts - 2.5 tbsp
Garlic - 2 big cloves
Red chilli - 1
Curd - 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder - for sprinkling
Salt - as req.
Water - as req.

METHOD:
------------------
1. Dry roast the red chilli and garlic for a minute in a nonstick pan, and grind them coarsely. Transfer it to a bowl.

2. Remove the skin of peanuts and dry roast them(If you find hard to remove the skin, first dry roast for a minute, then crush them with your hands, and again dry roast till an aroma arises). Grind them into a coarse powder. Add this to the redchilli-garlic mix in the bowl.

3. Next, add little water, required salt, and curd one by one to the bowl. Mix well to form a dip like consistency.

4. Sprinkle some red chilli powder on top(this is optional) while serving. DONE!!

Your delicious peanut-curd dip is ready to be served!!

NOTE:
--------------
1. I made this dip in a slightly crunchy consistency, which is too good. If you want a more creamy consistency, just blend everything together after step2 till you get the desired form.
2. You can use red chilli flakes and garlic powder too instead of red chilli and garlic.
3. You can make this ahead of time for parties, and store in an airtight container in a refrigerator.
4. If you are using homemade curd, make sure it is somewhat thick and not too watery. Else you wont get a dip like consistency.
5. Adjust ingredients as per your taste.
