Pumpkin Poori


Poori is a favourite for almost every kid..Y not to embed veggies in it? I usually make colourful beetroot pooris for my kid, n I hav added yellow pumpkin this tym..Turned out so yumm..Having it with a chana masala or aloo masala will be a fantastic combo!!


RECIPE:

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: < 1 min per poori
Serves: 4-5 persons

INGREDIENTS: [1 cup=240 ml]     
----------------------------------------------
Wheat flour - 1.5 cup
Yellow Pumpkin Purée - 1/2 cup
Red chilli powder - 3/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala - 3/4 tsp
Sugar(optional) - 1/4 tsp
Salt - as req.
Water - as req.
Oil - for dough + for frying


METHOD:
---------------------
1. Make a soft dough with all the ingredients and set aside.


2. As usual, roll out the small balls of the dough into poori. Use little oil while rolling to avoid sticking.


3. Deep fry in hot oil. Remove and transfer to a plate. DONE!!


Your soft n yummy poori is ready to be served with ur favourite masala!!Njjoy!!


NOTE:
---------------
1. To make pumpkin purée, just blend it with very little water.
2. Adjust ingredients as per your taste.
