Spicy Mutton Biriyani in Pressure Cooker..One of the quickest Biriyani recipes with minimal ingredients..Very yummilicious and you need just 20 minutes to cook this biriyani, excluding the marination time..Usually I make layered biriyani with mutton..Tried this recipe on one of the lazy Sundays a few months back with my choice of ingredients, without following any recipe..The result was a super hit, and everyone at family jus loved it..So I noted down my measurements, and made it again this Sunday too..Again it was so yummy and I thought it's a must to post it in the blog..So try this biriyani and let me know ur feedbacks frnz..

Barnyard Millet(Kuthiraivali) Idiyappam


Barnyard Millet Idiyappam..Idiyappam made with homemade barnyard millet(குதிரைவாலி) flour..Very tasty and healthy obviously because of the millets..You could feel only little changes in the taste when compared to the rice flour idiyappam..I made this with some leftover barnyard millets, which are getting expired soon..Saw this recipe from the handbook got along with the millets..Since then I wanted to try it, and finally did it today..Since I made this with leftover millets, I made the idiyapam in a very small quantity enough for jus a plate of serving..Anyways it was worth trying..

Boiled Egg Avial..A quick and easy sidedish with boiled eggs and ground coconut masala..The best option if you want to make avial, but running out of vegetables..Avial is a favourite for almost all people including the nonveg lovers lyk me..It is one of the important sidedishes in SouthIndian meals, especially Tamilnadu and Kerala meals..However the masala differs from place to place..This Rcp too is a slightly different one..And very tasty too.. So must try this, and soon I will be sharing the Avial recipe with vegetables too frnz..

Flaxseed Missi Roti


Flaxseed Missi Roti..A variation of the North Indian Missi Roti..Missi Roti is one of the tasty and popular bread varieties of  the NorthIndian cuisine. I tried missi roti for the first time several months back, and that too with oats following the handbook recipe of Quaker Oats. Thatswhen I came to know about the missi roti name. It was too good even without much spices. So I thought why not to implement the same with flaxseed powder. Tried with my own choice of ingredients and measurements. I should really say, the taste was simply superb!! This is particularly useful when u don't want to make gravies or side dishes. Just make the roti, serve with some yogurt/pickle/butter, and your meal is ready!!

Meal Maker Pulao


Meal Maker Pulao..A pulao made in pressure cooker with meal maker(soya chunks) as the main ingredient..Tried the recipe on the last Sunday with some side dishes..I saw this recipe an year back in an app..It was made of chicken and named as Chicken Biriyani..I hav tried the same rcp with chicken the previous time..Satisfied with the results, I used Meal Maker this time, and it turned out pretty good..Since coconut milk is used in the recipe, I thought to use the name Pulao for the recipe..Ofcourse certain biriyani uses coconut milk as well..But I am ok with this..Pulao or biriyani, who cares about the name ryt? We care only about the taste, and so no more explanations 😂😂..

Chocolate Maa Ladoo


Chocolate Maa Ladoo..A twist to the usual Maa Ladoo(பொரிகடலை உருண்டை) recipe with chocolate flavour and sugar free!! My last recipe was Cumin-RoastedGram Milk..When I made roastedgram powder for that, I thought to make one more recipe with the powder, since it is very healthy and good for growing kids..So the Maa Ladoo recipe was in my mind yesterday, but I thought of improvising it..My first idea was to make it sugar free, since a lot of powdered sugar is usually used in the recipe..Also, the cocoa powder gives a nice chocolate flavour, usually loved by the kids..So I implemented them, and the final result was too good, and the best part is you need just 5 mins to make this delicious recipe..Thats great na!!

Cumin-RoastedGram Milk


Cumin - Roasted Gram(பொரிகடலை/Bhuna chana) Milk For Toddlers and Kids..A very good alternative for the usual Badam milk, dryfruits milk etc..The cumin seeds is the main ingredient of the recipe which gives an excellent flavour to the milk, and helps in digestion as well..Usually I add cardamom, clove or sometimes even cinnamon too to the milk for the digestion purpose, and now cumin is one more in the list..Adding roasted gram is an additional ingredient to provide extra nutrition..A must try Rcp for toddlers and kids, dear mommies..
