Strawberry Praline Cake

Strawberry is a favourite for almost everyone..It is a superb fruit with which you can make lots of dishes especially desserts..How about making a cake with it? Sounds great ryt? So our recipe is a NoBake cake with strawberry, biscuits, strawberry frosting n more..I love these kind of biscuit cakes, not only because it is quick to prepare, but these are equally or sometimes much better in taste than our usual baked cakes..

When I finished preparing this, and had the first bite to test, wat I told myself was wow! I m not exaggerating frnz, but it's true...I enjjoyed each n every bite of the piece, n I really want u to try this rcp!! And wat I reminded myself again was, simpler rcps too can giv greater taste!!

RECIPE:
------------------------------------------
Preparation Time: 10 + 15 mins
Cooking Time: 2 mins
Chill Time: until used
Serves: 6 or more pieces
-------------------------------------------
INGREDIENTS:
-------------------------------------------
NICE brand biscuits - 24
Strawberry Frosting - 1 bowl
Strawberry puree/strawberry - for garnish
Oranges - 1 or 2
Powdered sugar/sugar - for orange juice

For Pralines:
Cashews - 25 to 30
Powdered sugar/sugar - 2 tbsp

For Strawberry Frosting:
Strawberry purée - 1.5 tbsp
Unsalted butter(softened&slightly cold) - 75 gms(approx.)
Powdered sugar - 1 cup
Salt - a pinch
Vanilla essence - 1/4 tsp

METHOD:
--------------------
For Strawberry Frosting:
1. In a bowl, beat the butter and salt with a whisk in high speed for 5-7 mins or medium speed for 10 mins until  it becomes light and fluffy.

2. Next add the sifted powdered sugar. Whisk it well until well combined.

3. Now pour the vanilla essence and finally add the strawberry puree(just blended in a blender without water), and whisk again till you reach the frosting consistency. DONE!!

Your super delicious strawberry frosting is ready to be used for cakes/cupcakes/desserts etc.!!

For Cake:
1. Blend oranges in a juicer without water, and pour the strained juice in a bowl. You will get 1/2 to 3/4 cup. Add the required sugar/powdered sugar to it and mix well. Set aside.

2. In a rectangle box, arrange 8 biscuits dipped in orange juice as the first layer, and strawberry frosting as the 2nd layer.

3. Repeat the above step for 2 more times. Refrigerate until served.

4. To prepare PRALINES, take a pan, add the powdered sugar/sugar and stir lightly in simmer. When the sugar starts melting, add the cashews and keep on stirring till the cashews are slightly roasted, and merged well with the sugar. Remove from the stove and immediately transfer to a tissue. When cooled, just blend it for a second in a blender to a coarse powder.

5. Just before serving, garnish the cake with the pralines and the strawberry puree/fresh strawberries. DONE!!

Your superdelicious strawberry praline cake is ready to be served. Njjjoyyy!!

NOTE:
---------------
1. You can store the praline powder in an airtight container and use it as a topping for a lot of recipes like cakes, desserts etc.
2. I used a combo of NICE and Sunfeast Milky Magic biscuits for the cake. You can use any biscuits of your choice
3. Use an electric beater to get the frosting consistency 100% perfect, though the whisk is good enough to make this.
4. Refrigerate your frosting in an airtight container until use.
5. The strawberry frosting quantity is good enough for frosting a 6 piece cake. I used it completely for this cake.
