Rose Muhalabia


Hi all..Here I m with yet another Eid special recipe..It's Middle Eastern Special Dessert, MUHALABIA with ROSE flavour..Though the name sounds different, its one of the easiest dessert recipes which u can make in a few minutes for a crowd..When u r looking for a last minute dessert, don't forget to try this yummilicious recipe..Now, let's see how to make it frnz..

RECIPE:

Preparation Time: 1 minute 
Cooking Time: 10 mins
Serves: 3 persons
---------------------------------------------
INGREDIENTS: [1 cup=250 ml]
---------------------------------------------
Milk - 2 cups
Rice flour(Idiyappam flour) - 1/4 cup
Rose Sharbath - 1/2 cup
Cashews (crushed) - a handful 

WATCH HOW TO MAKE THE RECIPE:


METHOD:
----------------
1. Mix milk, rice flour, and rose sharbath in a vessel without lumps. 

2. Place the vessel on stove and keep on stirring in simmer.

3. When it starts to thicken, keep in medium flame for a few seconds.

4. When the back of the ladle is well coated with the mixture, the right consistency is reached. Switch off the stove. Allow the mix to cool at room temperature for 1-2 hrs. If needed, refrigerate for 2-3 hrs or until serving.

5. While serving, top with crushed cashews.


NOTE:
----------
1. Rose sharbath can be replaced by Rose essence and sugar/brown sugar.

2. Rice flour can be replaced by corn flour.

3.Cashews can be replaced by pistachios/almonds/grated coconut/honey.

4. Instead of rose flavour, you can make the same recipe in many flavours like vanilla, fruit flavours etc.

5. You can also add fresh cream to the recipe, but it is not compulsory.
