WATCH HOW TO MAKE THE RECIPE:

METHOD:
---------------
1. In a bowl, dissolve the custard powder in approximately half a cup of milk. Boil the remaining milk.

2. In a vessel, pour 3 tsp ghee, roast the cashews till golden brown, remove them, and then roast the raisins. Transfer them to a plate.

3. Now, add 2 tsp more ghee to the vessel, roast the Rava for a few minutes in simmer. Add the hot water, and whisk very well.

4. Next, add the hot milk, and whisk rigorously to be free of lumps. When the lumps are gone and the rava is perfectly cooked, add the brown sugar, and keep stirring to avoid further lumps.

5. When the sugar is completely dissolved, add the remaining ghee 2 tsp at a time at regular intervals. Don't stop whisking in between.

6. Finally, when the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan, add the crushed cardamom and the roasted cashews and raisins. Mix well.

7. Transfer the mixture to a plate. When it is warm, cut into pieces, and serve. That's it!!

Your super tasty Custard Powder Rava Kesari is ready to be served!! Njjoy!!

NOTE:
----------
1. You can also use Broken wheat instead of sooji.

2. You can use white sugar if you want even more bright color.

3. You can also add 1 or 2 tsp more of custard powder if you want a strong flavour.

4. Any flavour of custard powder can be used.

5. The ghee I have used is of perfect quantity. Still, you can adjust as per your taste.
