METHOD:
---------------
Sodhi:
1. In a vessel, roast the moong dal for about 5 mins in simmer until the smell comes. Switch off the stove and allow to cool for some time. Then wash it.

2. Next, to the same vessel, add the required water, about 300 ml or more and cook the Dal in simmer until it is well cooked.

3. Meanwhile, grind the coconut and ginger with required water and extract the milk. Repeat the process for 4 times. I got 1/2 cup first milk, 1/2 cup 2nd milk, 1/2 cup 3rd milk, and 1/2 cup 4th milk. Keep them aside.

4. Next, mash the dal after it is well cooked. Remove the vessel.

5. Now, in another vessel, add the onion, chillies, washed turkey berry, and the 3rd and 4th milk with required salt. Close with a lid and cook in simmer.

6. When the veggies are well cooked, add the mashed dal, and the 2nd milk. After 2 mins, add the turmeric powder, 1st milk, and 1/2 cup of water. Again cook in simmer until the mixture is well heated. Don't boil. Switch off the stove.

7. In a pan, pour the oil, temper with curry leaves. Pour this tempering over the Sodhi and mix well. Serve after 5 mins. That's it!!

Idiyappam:
1. Boil 2 cups or more water. Don't switch off the stove.

2. Meanwhile, in a vessel, add the Ragi flour, salt, and 1 tsp gingelly oil.

3. Add the boiling water to the above mixture little by little and knead to a dough with a ladle. I needed 2 cups of water.

4. When a soft sticky dough is ready, allow the mix to become warm.

5. When the mix is warm, knead it again to a perfect dough by adding little gingelly oil to the dough and applying little in your hands. Keep the dough aside.

6. Boil water in an idli pot. Grease the idli plates or Idiyappam plates with oil.

7. Take a small ball from the dough, shape it and place it inside a Idiyappam maker. Press it in circular motion over the moulds of the plate. I prepared 2 plates.

8. Now, place the plates inside the pot and cook in high flame for about 10-12 mins or as required.

9. When the Idiyappam is ready, remove the plates, and transfer them to a plate after 5 mins. That's it!!

Your super healthy breakfast combo of Ragi Idiyappam and Turkey Berry Sodhi is ready to be served!! Njjoy!!

NOTE:
-----------
1. You can also use half of Ragi flour and half of any other flour like roasted wheat flour, rice flour etc.

2. Any veggies or meat can be added in the Sodhi.
