Steamed Moong Kabab

Hi all..Iftar is an enjoyable moment for any muslim who is fasting..Sipping the first drop of water or drink after fasting for the whole day, the adorable feel is hardddd to describe in words..It is usually better to take light food which is convenient for the stomach after fasting..However, almost all of us used to fill our dining spreads with fried and baked food for iftar..Many of us forget the fact that, we can even make steamed starters/snacks which r tasty as well..I feel this recipe can motivate u to try more steamed recipes for the upcoming iftar feasts..

Beef Kabab

Hi frnz..Well, today I m here with an extremely delicious recipe which I m sure it will be a lip smacking favourite for u guys..If you satisfy your kid by a recipe, it is the best recipe according to me, and my little one really loved it and was asking for more..So, that's enough to describe it I guess..I was thinking to do a nonveg snack to be a pair with Iftar porridge as well as dinner..And came to a conclusion of making a kabab..Initially I thought of making it with mutton, and then changed my mind to make it with Beef since we haven't bought it for a few months..And believe me, this is my simplest version of kabab, no sautΓ©ing, no charcoal, yet no no compromise in taste at all, n a crowd winning recipe for sure..Ok, let's make it..

Soya Chunks Falafel

Soya Chunks Falafel..Falafel, you might be very familiar with it. A popular lebanese starter/snack, which serves as a good accompaniment for hot soups and tea for the evenings. To make a slight twist, I tried this falafel with Soya Chunks, which I found yesterday on MasterChef Sanjeev Kapoor's website, and tried the same day itself. The taste was absolutely good with tomato ketchup, though traditionally it is served with dips.

Whole Wheat-Beet Egg Momos

Momos..A popular no-fry starter/snack, belonging to the dumplings category of recipes..Wikipedia says, it belongs to Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, Darjeeling, and Sikkim..Usually it is made with all-purpose flour(maida)..But, we can do it with whole wheat flour as well..Ofcourse it will be slightly thicker and chewy than maida momos, but it tastes very good n healthy too..
