METHOD:
---------------
1. In an earthen pot/kadai, pour oil, temper with mustard seeds and curry leaves. Add onion, and saute until translucent.
2. Next, add green chilli, and saute for a minute. Now, add the cleaned dry baby prawns, and salt. Cook for a few minutes in simmer. Add very little water if necessary to avoid burning.
3. In the mean time, grind the 'To grind' ingredients without water to a coarse paste. Add this to the pot after the dry baby prawns is almost cooked.
4. Add little more water if required. Close with a lid and cook until the moisture is almost reduced in the mixture. That's it!!
Your super tasty Kooni Karuvadu Thoran is ready to be served!! Njjoy!!
NOTE:
----------
1. Be careful while adding the salt, since the Karuvadu already contains salt in it.
2. Clean the Karuvadu very well for a few times until the sand is completely removed.
3. You can also use shallots instead of onion.
4. You can also add raw plantain to this thoran, just like my Squid RawBanana Thoran recipe.
