Beef Roast


So, frnz, I m here with yet another delicious to the core recipe, made in our home for years..This is very very simple to make, with very less masala, and tastes greatt with rice roti, Ottaadai, Paalada, Idiyappam, Aapam, Chapati, rice, and wat not?! Whenever we buy beef, we make this recipe almost every time n I m a serious addict to it..So, don't miss to try this recipe when u buy beef the next tym..And one more thing, u r going to see the making of the recipe as a video..Yes, it's been a while since I posted my last video, so had a thought to shoot it while making..Alright, let's move on to the recipe..

RECIPE:

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: <25 mins
Serves: 3 persons

INGREDIENTS: 
------------------------------------
Beef - 500 gms(approx.)
Shallots - 25(sliced)
Tomato - 1
Green chilli - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Cardamom - 4
Cloves - 4
Cinnamon stick - 1
Red chilli powder - 1 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/3 tsp
Saunf powder - 1 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp 
Salt - as req.
Gingelly oil - 1 tbsp + 2 tsp or as req.
Curry leaves(optional) - 1 sprig

METHOD:
----------------
1. In a pressure cooker, add the beef, sliced shallots, chopped tomato, slit green chilli, ginger garlic paste, salt, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick, and close the lid. Don't add water or oil at this stage. Pressure cook for 8 whistles.

2. Open the lid, and cook in high flame for a few mins until the water is almost completely reduced. 

3. Next, add the 6 masala powders, and cook in low flame stirring often. 

4. Add 1 tbsp oil, and again cook for a few mins. Add the remaining oil at regular intervals.

5. Finally, add the crushed curry leaves, and cook for a few mins until the oil is separated. That's it!! 

Your super delicious Beef Roast of our home style is ready to be served!! Njjoy!!


NOTE:
----------
1. Gingelly oil and shallots are must for this recipe. So, don't skip them.
2. You can also add garam masala, but usually we don't add it for this recipe.
3. You can also do open cooking, but it takes almost an hour for the beef to cook.
