Poha Fruit Meal


Hi frnz..So, today I have come up with a very very simple but undoubtedly healthy recipe for breakfast, which u can make in minutes for ur kids, even for urself during lazy day or busy or during diet, and when u want to have some fruits in ur meal..It sounds similar to overnight Oatmeal recipe, but u don't have to wait overnight for this recipe..And no Curd is used here!! It's a good option for brunch, or as a snack for kids too..With no more delay, let's move on to the recipe..



RECIPE:

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 5 mins
Serves: 1 person

INGREDIENTS: [1 cup=250 ml]

Poha(அவல்/rice flakes) - 1 cup
Boiled Warm Milk - 3/4 cup
Dried black grapes(soaked in little water) - 12 to 15 
Cinnamon powder - 1/2 tsp
Black sesame - 1 tsp
Crushed/powdered Jaggery - 4 tsp or as required
Mango pieces - 1/3 cup
Strawberry - 4(chopped)

METHOD:

1. In a bowl, add poha, milk, soaked dried black grapes, cinnamon powder, black sesame seeds, jaggery, everything one by one and mix well. Keep this aside for 30 mins. You can also chill it for sometime if needed, but I skipped it.

2. While serving, add the mango and strawberry pieces, mix well, and serve immediately. That's it!!

Your super healthy Poha Fruit Meal is ready to be served!!Njjoyy!!

1. You can use any fruits of your choice.
2. You can also use dry fruits or nuts if needed.
