Buttery Sardines Toast

Buttery Sardines Toast!! Sardines is a wonderful seafood which is rich in calcium, omega3, and many more essential nutrients n it is one of the best seafoods to consume for ppl of all ages, especially toddlers, growing kids, n women..I love sardines(mathi(மத்தி)/chaalai(சாளை) is wat we call it in our place) a lot!! When fried or cooked as a coconut-less tamarind curry, I will finish it off the plate asap n ask for even more 😋😋😂..But not all kids will lov this fish, n some moms will face difficulties in feeding this fish..I made this rcp for those moms, n also for those ppl who would like to taste a different Rcp with sardines..I guarantee, this is absolutely tasty..Even I m surprised with the taste..This is not an unknown rcp for u, just a simple buttery garlic toast,  many of u would hav tried this using prawns, but with sardines, definitely it is new to u..Hence I thought to post it here..Do try this, n let me know ur feedback frnz..

RECIPE:
------------------------------------
Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 20 mins
Serves: 3 persons
-------------------------------------
INGREDIENTS:
-------------------------------------
Wheat/Multigrain Bread - 6
Sardines fish - 5
Unsalted Butter - 6 tsp or as req.
Garlic - 6 cloves
Green chilli(with less spicy) - 1 or little Capsicum
Crushed pepper - 1/2 to 1 tsp
Salt - as req.

METHOD:
----------------
1. Place the cleaned Sardines fish in a plate and steamcook in an Idli pot for 8 to 10 mins. Next, debone the fish as much as you can and shred the fish.

2. In a small pan, add 2 tsp butter, fine chopped garlic and saute until golden brown. Next, add green chilli, and saute well. Next, add the salt and shredded fish, and cook for 2-3 mins, sautéing in between.

3. Finally, add the pepper and again saute for a few mins. When a puttu like consistency is achieved, switch off the stove. The stuffing is ready now.

4. In a tawa, add 2 tsp butter, and place 2 pieces of bread. Keep the flame in simmer. Apply little butter on the top too.

5. Now place the stuffing on one bread, and cover it with the other bread. That's it!! Transfer to a plate n serve hot!!

Your delicious n healthy Buttery Sardines Toast is ready to be served!! Njjoy!!

NOTE:
-----------
1. You cannot remove the entire bones. So, try to remove the bones as much as you can, n don't worry about the remaining very tiny bones as they can be easily chewed.

2. This rcp is suitable for kids above 2 yrs of age since it has tiny bones. You can even feed toddlers below 2 yrs, but be careful about choking.

3. Steam cooking is a must, and don't boil the fish instead. Else, the fish becomes mushy.

4. I made this for my kid n so it is less spicy, but tasty. For elders, you can adjust the spiciness.
