MultiMilletRava Flaxseed Dosa

MultiMilletRava Flaxseed Dosa..This is a variety of rava dosa, which is one of the best alternatives for the usual rava(sooji)dosa, since it is made of healthy ingredients..With some amount of flaxseed powder residing in the refrigerator for a few months of time, I thought of making some Dosa recipe with it, and implemented it by combining it with my Homemade Multimillet Rava which I posted a couple of months back..The result was completely satisfying, and very tasty..Those who are on a diet, or health conscious, this recipe is for u guys..Even for babies or toddlers, u can definitely try this mommies..Do try this n let me know the outcome of the recipe..

RECIPE:

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time: 1-2 mins per Dosa
Serves: 3-4 persons

INGREDIENTS: [1 cup=240 ml]
---------------------------------------------------
Homemade Multimillet Rava - 1/2 cup
Flaxseed powder - 1/4 cup
Rice flour(idiyapam flour) - 1/4 cup
Onion - 1/2 to 3/4(fine chopped)
Curry leaves - a few( fine chopped)
Green chilli - 1(fine chopped)
Cumin seeds - 3/4 tsp
Salt - as req.
Oil - for greasing
Water - 1 1/2 cups or as req.

METHOD:
----------------
1. In a bowl, add the Multimillet Rava, rice flour, flaxseed powder, and 1 cup of water. Mix well with a spoon.

2. Now add the onion, curry leaves, green chilli, cumin seeds, and salt.

3. Next add the remaining 1/2 cup or more water, and mix well. Check the batter for a very watery or pouring consistency with the spoon.

4.Now, in a greased iron/nonstick tawa, pour a ladle of batter starting from the outwards and finishing at the centre. Cook in medium flame, until the edges become crispy.

5. Flip the dosa and cook on the other side until wellcooked. Remove from the stove and store in a hot pack..That's it!!

Your crispy and delicious MultiMilletRava Flaxseed Dosa is ready!! Serve hot with chutney or any side of your choice!!

NOTE:
--------------
1. Serve the dosa hot for a great taste. Serving warm or at room temperature won't give a better taste.
2. Adjust the spiciness as per your taste.
3. You can store the batter for a couple of days in the refrigerator for later use.
