WATCH HOW TO MAKE THE RECIPE:

METHOD:
----------------
  1. Boil water in a pan with turmeric powder and salt. Add the cleaned fish pieces, mix well, and close the pan with a lid.
  2. When the fish pieces are cooked, remove them and transfer to a plate. Remove the excess water too and use it for any other recipes like soups, gravies etc.
  3. Now in the same pan, pour coconut oil, temper with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  4. Add onion and saute until golden brown. In the meantime, remove the skin and bones of the fish and slightly mash the fish to get a Puttu like consistency.
  5. Now to the pan, add the chopped green chilli, saunf powder, little more salt, and mix well.
  6. Next, add the fish and saute well. Add the coconut and saute again until the raw smell goes off and merged well to get the perfect consistency. That's it!!

Your delicious n easy Fish Puttu is ready to be served with rice!! Njjoy!!

NOTE:
------------
  1. You can also steam the fish instead of boiling.
  2. I have used Vilai fish(Emperor fish). You can use any variety of fleshy fish. Especially tuna goes well.
  3. You can try many variations like adding different masala etc.
