Roasted Gram Dal Mayonnaise

 

So, Ramadan has arrived dears..And this quick n yummy recipe is very helpful for iftar preparations while making wraps, salads, and a good option as a dip for starters..Though I named it as Mayonnaise, I have skipped milk, egg, oil in the ingredients list which are usually used in a basic mayonnaise recipe..So, u need just a few mins to make this healthy version of it..Let's make it frnz..

RECIPE:

Preparation Time:   5 mins

Cooking Time:  Nil

Serves:  5-6 persons approx.

INGREDIENTS: [1 cup=240 ml]

-----------------------------------------------------------

Roasted Gram Dal -  1/2 cup

Whole pepper - 1/2 tsp

Garlic - 4 to 5 medium pods

Vinegar - 3 tsp

Water - 1/4 cup approx.

Salt - as req. 


WATCH HOW TO MAKE THE RECIPE:   .


METHOD:

1. In a blender, add the dal, pepper, garlic, salt, and powder it well.

2. Add the vinegar and grind again.

3. Next, add water little by little and grind well till you get a smooth dip like consistency. That's it!!

Your healthy Roasted Gram Dal Mayonnaise is ready to be served!! Njjoyy!!

NOTE:

1. I used white vinegar. You can also use apple cider vinegar instead.

2. Instead of roasted gram dal, you can use any nuts like cashews, groundnuts etc.
